Why on Earth would I announce myself any kind of guru, you ask? Because I have a passion for empowering and educating people and being a positive influence. Because my father who was battling serious asthma has inspired me for life with HIS passion for the outdoors, nature, sports and his accomplishments in many things. Because what I learned from him had saved my life and made me who I am today. Because I still share, with the other special person in my life, the joy of training and competing and just being fit and feeling healthy allows us to look ahead with great expectations and pursue with endless energy.
Am I preaching? I don't mean to. I, somehow, want to convey my real feelings about this health and fitness concept and why it is so important to take it seriously and treat yourself to the time it takes to make the changes and LIKE it! Yes, the most important aspect is the likability of your routine, or activity, or program, whatever you happen to do. Why do diets fail? Because of lack of self discipline? Not really. Because they suck. Eating cardboard is not pleasant. Fat free stuff has no flavor (fat = flavor?). Whole grains feel like eating gravel. Artificial sweeteners, well, they are bad for you too. Then what's the solution? It is really something different for each and every one out there. Finding the right combination, identifying your triggers and enemies and strengths is the foundation. The herd mentality won't get you far here. The latest fad won't get you far either. You need an expert with a listening ear and intuition and genuine passion to HELP. That's me. That's my guruness to you! Nazdroviye!! Hee Hee
I won't stop here, only I am not able to post everything I want you to know right away. So check back periodically because I'm on the ball and I am determined to achieve my goal and ENLIGHTEN you, the reader. So welcome, and see you back soon!
